Hello everyone. This past semester the College of Education had an excellent Adobe session on Bullying in the Classroom. In light of this being the anniversary of the Columbine shootings and with the unfortunate episode at Virginia Tech this week, we wanted to take this opportunity to share our session with you:

Bullying in the Classroom session with Dr. JoLynn Carney and Dr. Richard Hazler

The unique developmental aspects of bullying and youth violence were discussed in this EdLion session. Emphasis was placed on those personal and situational characteristics that can escalate comparatively minor interpersonal relation problems into more extreme forms of youth violence. Practical ways of dealing with these issues were reviewed.
