Hello...I'm Troy Wise, an Instructional Designer at Edstrom Industries in Waterford, WI. We brought Breeze into our facility in order to enable us to both drive e-Learning and promote real-time meetings and collaboration with our worldwide workforce, installing our server in late 2004. Soon after installation, I took a trip to Macromedia's corporate HQ in San Francisco to meet with the Breeze product team, both to discuss our implementation plans as well as features that would help make Breeze a more complete application. Just prior to the Breeze implementation, I transferred from the IT department to our new Training department--and I continue to wear two hats in many ways.

My experience with Breeze/Acrobat Connect has now spanned three major version upgrades, integration with external systems through the API, many triumphs and tribulations and more than one emergency server rebuild.

Professionally, my experience has centered on the application of technology to drive effective communication and e-Learning. I hold a BS in Marketing (not from Penn State, but maybe for a late-life MBA?), and prior to joining Edstrom I developed marketing communications, advertising spots, and print, live, video- and web-based training programs for a number of government and private sector entities including the USDA and FDA. This role provided many opportunities to develop a broad understanding of the application of various technologies in a learning environment.
