112 Forestry Building

The following is the "go by" that we used for the Network of People meeting in 112 Forestry Bldg (Steimer Auditoreum). This can be used by anyone desiring to use Adobe Connect to broadcast a meeting from this room.

Podium PC
• No Camera
• Logged in as Presenter
• Breeze Audio on
• Cordless mic
• Desktop mic

My PC
• Logged in as presenter
• Camera on
• Logged in via wired DHCP
• Both PC and Breeze audio on mute

Test
• All presentations
• Download presentations
• Audio w/far end
• Audio in room
• Presenter mode
o What does far end see?
o What does big screen show?
o Does camera work in presenter mode?

During presentations:
• Record the Meeting
• Take pictures of speakers
• Change their names in camera and voice pod
o Highlight name in Attendee List
o Click Gear
o Click “Edit User Info…”

Speakers should:
• Send Powerpoint ahead of time
• Stand in front of moderator to get still picture taken
• No roaming from podium
• Repeat the questions
• Wear cordless mic

Post-Meeting Notes:
• Audio from the podium PC dropped 4X for no apparent reason, requiring Kurt to walk up to the podium and “re-energize”.
• Need to find a way to hide the chat pod from the screen in the room
• Test the magic box to allow audio and video to be broadcast from the same computer (this would eliminate two Pictures from being broadcast out of the Camera and Voice pod)
• Use two PC’s at moderators position. (maybe). This would allow moderator to show up as “Kurt Baker” or whoever. Since we changed the name of each presenter under the camera image (fed from Kurt’s PC), it caused all of Kurt’s comments in the chat to go out under someone else’s name. This may have caused some confusion out in Breezeland.
