Good Day everyone,

I just want everyone to know that the Faculty Center and the Learning Center at Penn State Harrisburg will be piloting online writing tutoring for Fall 2007. We just completed our testing and the results were fantastic. Working with Janice Smith, Coordinator for the Learning Center, Kathy Brode, Writing Specialist and I, Anthony Clauto, Multimedia and Instructional Support Specialist, completed exercises using Adobe Connect for online tutoring. We will be offering this service first to our graduate students during the Fall 2007 semester. This service will help provide a service to students who otherwise may not be able to attend a face-to-face tutoring session. The process is synchronous which provides real time instruction.
