I recently tested this problem on 2 separate machines with the same 10.4.10 Mac system and was unable to replicate the symptoms. Make sure that all other applications other than your browser are not active. Especially the applications that may demand the use of the audio card. If that doesn't solve the problem, then you may want to check with your IT person to update or replace the drivers. John
