Have just installed a new Dell Vostra 400 desktop with Vista. Much difficulty with Adobe hosted account. Some meeting rooms load, but slowly, then moving from one layout to another takes forever. One meeting room won't load at all. All work fine on older machines on same network with XP Pro, Disabled popup blocker, no improvement. Disabled viruscan, same. Disabled both, same. Ran "Test Meeting Connection" several times and each time it gets hung up on No. 3-Connection Speed Test. All other internet connections work beautifully. Had purchased this computer to use with Connect Pro. Same problem using Firefox and IE.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
More Things to Try to Resolve Adobe Connect Vista Problem
I was poking around in the forums at the Adobe sponsored user community and came across this thread about problems with Vista and some things to try to resolve the problem.

Sounds like a hardware problem
The fact that you have run the connection test and it consistently hangs up on the speed test coupled with the fact that other "older" computers work fine on the same internet connection would lead me to believe you have a hardware problem with your new computer -- can you try installing Vista on one of the older computers that works fine with Adobe Connect and see if you can eliminate Vista as the source of the problem?
Adding Vista to Other Computers
That is not an option as they cannot handle Vista. Was advised to deselect Windows Aero as the default display and went back to Windows basic. That seemed to help slightly.

Check your version of Flash
One of our Adobe Connect IT support staff members reports that he has been running Adobe Connect on Vista for some time now with no problems. He suggested that you check to be sure you are running the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player. It should have installed when you ran the connection test, but perhaps there was a problem with the installation.
Thanks for Effort
Thanks to all with ideas. So far, nothing works. We're still trouble shooting.
