Hello everyone,
Today we pushed the envelope of Adobe Connect Pro for accessibility protocols. With the exception of a hardwire audio cable problem at the beginning, most things went fairly well. We learned a lot about the limitations and opened the doors to some possibilities for the future. In the meantime we learned a lot (at least I did) about how the mix of technology and the accessibility issues needs to be addressed.
The presenters did a wonderful job demonstrating the advantages of using technology and the limitations it has to reach this audience. They reviewed how even authoring simple html pages can prove to have hindrances that sighted person takes for granted.
