Property (documents) in Adobe Connect

One of our faculty asked the following question:
I was told that once a document is placed on breeze, that the intellectual property rights are no longer mine, but are the University’s. Is that correct?
Before I answer her, I typed in property in this meeting.psu.edu space but didn't find any information so thought I'd write to the community to see if anyone else has had this questions --peg shuffy (phc1)
Copyright Laws Still Apply
I have heard this rumor before, but don't recall where. Uploading content to Adobe Connect does not negate standing copyright rules. If the content is original and belongs to the person uploading it, they retain copyright even if the content is uploaded and displayed in Adobe Connect. All uploaded content can also be removed by any meeting room Host through the "Organize" option in the Pods menu.
