V.7 Screen Sharing Add-in Issue with Mac

There is a documented issue with installing the Screen Sharing Add in - "connect addin" with users on a Mac and monitor resolutions larger than 2000 pixels either vertical or horizontal.

Synptom: Macintosh is unable to install the add-in for V.7 of Adobe Connect.

Explanation in Adobe's release notes of Connect Pro 7:
On Macintosh, the Meeting Add in will fail to launch a meeting if either the width or the
height of the screen resolution is set to 2000 pixels or greater. The window appears but is blank (white).

Workaround: lower the screen resolution, or launch the meeting in the browser (append"?launcher=false" to the url)

As reported by a member of our online community:
What finally worked:

went to ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/www.macromedia.com/bin
then deleted the folder named "Connectaddin"
Emptied trash
Cleared history, cookies, etc. in browser
Dropped resolution from 2560x1600
to 1920x1440 (keeping it under 2000 pixels)
Reopened Connect meeting and
installed Sharing Add on (by clicking on the blue down arrow in the upper
right corner) selecting INSTALL
then YES
then OPEN
it should install the updated add on to ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash
Player/www.macromedia.com/bin w/folder Connectaddin
my screen refreshed/flashed
and then I was able to share
