user can't share My Computer

I have a FPS user connecting our PSU's Breeze server. He is connecting from Univ of Maryland and has used this site before as a Presenter.
When he clicks on Share and My computer, his screen switches to FireFox for a brief second and then switches back over the Adobe Connect window and that's it. his screen is not shared nor can he select "desktop, applications, etc".
any help would be appreciated.

Some possiblities that were suggested
Some of the conversation that happened off community included:
* Issues with default browsers causing some links in Connect to open in a browser that is not the one in which the meeting was started (similar to the post http://meeting.psu.edu/node/493).
* Screen sharing add-in issue with screen resolution as reported in the post http://meeting.psu.edu/node/436
* Clear the cache as described in post http://meeting.psu.edu/node/471
* One thing I had not experienced on my Mac until now was related to sharing a Window. When I elected to share my window (not desktop), I was prompted to select the 'Enable access for assistive devices' option in the Universal Access system preference. Once I did that, I could share my window. I am running OS X 10.5.4 on a MacBook Pro.
