I've had several users tell me that when they use the chart feature in PPT 2007, that chart does NOT display afater they upload to Adobe Connect
So, I tried it, and recreated the issue on my own computer.
Then I created a new PPT, saved as 2003, created a chart and uploaded to Adobe Connect -- BOOOM, it displayed.
So, anyone else out there experiencing this issue.
Is there a work around for 2007? I have not searched anywhere but here in the community. Will try to search Adobe and Microsoft's site to see if I find anything.

Looking at supported files types, adobe connect does not currently support MS Word 07 products. I think this is why when you converted it to '03 it worked.
You can tell the difference between 07 and 03 but the file extension: .pptx(07) and .ppt(03); all the 07 products has x in the file extension
File Type Matters
I'm surprised to hear that Excel files display in the Share pod even in Office 2003. Office 2003 must have converted them somehow when they were embedded because my experience with the Share pod is that it will only display file types that it accepts, like mp3, jpg, ppt, and zipped Presenter -- even if they are embedded in a PPT file. I have included images in PPT files in the past and found that they had to be JPG -- GIF files wouldn't display.
Work-arounds might include taking a screen shot of the Excel file and embedding the (JPG) image in the PPT. Or, using FlashPaper to convert the Excel file to .SWF and embedding it in the PPT that way.
