This question or topic comes up often so I thought would share this with you.
A recent post and discussion at the Adobe Connectusers Community site (3-16-2009. http://www.connectusers.com/forums/cucbb/viewtopic.php?id=1852) states that they uploaded a .pdf file to the Content Folder and went to share it in meeting room. When they went to show it using a share pod and it did not show up in the shared content. They wanted know what happened and why.
Answer:
The Adobe Acrobat .pdf is not currently an accepted file type for sharing in the current version of Adobe Connect Pro. So since it not an accepted file type it will not show up in the Content Library and for that matter can not be uploaded into or shared in a share pod.
An alternative is to convert the document to Microsoft word and use the Adobe Flash Paper add-in to convert it to a SWF file.
