Greetings All,
Background Info:
- I created the meeting room.
- I am still one of two Hosts of the meeting.
- I recorded the first meeting on 5/19.
- The second recording was done by the second host.
Issue:
I want to edit both meetings. But when I go through "Manage Meeting Information" -> "Recordings" Sometimes I will get access denied to the recordings. But if i go back into the meeting and go to "Manage Meeting Information" a couple of times it will let me edit or view the recording information.
When I am getting denied to the recordings. If i make a new recording, I am able to access that.
Any ideas why that is?
Thanks,
yutai
RE: Inconsistent Access to Recordings
Hi Yutai,
You have stated that you created the meeting, therefore you will always be a host for the meeting by default unless the room is assigned by System Administrator to another license holder. Now that being said, it is not necessary for you access a recording by first logging into the meeting and then going through the "Meeting>Manage Meeting Information" option.
You can directly access all the recordings for the meeting room by simply doing the following:
1. Log into your Adobe Connect home screen.
2. Click on "Meetings" in the top menu bar.
3. Click on the name of your meeting meeting information bar.
4. Click on the recordings option to list all the recordings.
I think what may happening is that since by default all recording are restricted, Adobe Connect has to verify each time that you are the "owner" of the room. This would be especially true if you did not attend a particular meeting. That would explain why from time to time you get denied access by going through the "Meeting>Manage Meeting Information" option.
If you continue to have problems let us know.
