In Centra, in the menu, one can click on a green check mark to register a "yes" response beside one's name in the list of attendees, or a red X to register a "No" response to a verbal question posed by a presenter or attendee. There is also a "hand" icon, that when clicked, puts a "hand" icon beside ones' name, indicating that that person wishes to have the floor to speak. These are nice visual cues that are used in conjunction with the audio. How might these functions be handled in Adobe Connect?
Emoticons Answer
Adobe Connect also has emoticons, however, they are different from the emoticons available in Centra. For example, instead of yes/no, Adobe Connect has a thumbs up and a thumbs down. All meeting room attendees can access the emoticons by clicking the "My Status" bar at the top of the "Attendee List" pod. All attendees can also clear their status using the "My Status" bar after their question has been answered or the status has been noted.
"comment" icons, etc.
Hi! I have been using Connect/Breeze pretty extensively for the past year and really like the new product.
However, I must say that I miss the Centra comment/emot- icons. Their shapes, color and sizes made it easy to identify what was going on. For example, green check and red X were hard to misunderstand, unlike the black thumbs-up and down. And theCentra laughter and clapping hands have no analog in Connect/Breeze.
Does Adobe provide an API for customizing these? If so, I would vote for bringing these old "friends" back.
Thanks!

You can create customized pods.
Hi Pat,
Actually, it appears that anyone can create customized pods, all you need are the resources and knowhow to do it. Adobe has more information at their Web site. Check out http://www.adobe.com/devnet/breeze/ and http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?view=sn510.
