L1: One On One

A one on one meeting involves just two people communicating and/or collaborating together. It is the most straightforward use of Adobe Connect.

Meeting Activities

  • Both users may broadcast audio and video
  • Display files in the Share pod
  • Whiteboard collaboration
  • Note pods for notes and collaboration
  • Use File Share pod to distribute files
  • Use Chat pod as backup to broadcasting audio

    • Opportunities

    • Equal participation using audio / video is viable with small group.
    • The smaller the group, the more “intuitive” communication becomes.

    Limitations

    • Requires participants to build some level of comfort with the Adobe Connect interface
    • Both Attendees need a headset and microphone
    • Host needs a Web cam and may expect Attendee to also have a Web cam

    Roles/Permissions:

    • Meeting Leader: Host
    • Attendee: Host or Presenter

    Connection Speed

    • Both users: High speed, wired Internet connection

    • May need help getting started
